Councilor Herrmann is not only a town board member; he is a lieutenant of the Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Dept and a Fire Commissioner. We are very proud of his contributions to the town of Oswego.

We are looking into purchasing a back up generator for the Sleepy Hollow sewer district. A recent power outage has made us relies the Importance of being pro active at the plant for power outages, and problems could arise should the pumps fail. I will send letters to the residents of the Hollow explaining the need.

The town will be purchasing a new snow plow for our highway dept. We have not purchased a snow plow since 1999. This plow will replace a 1978 that will be traded in.

The city school district will hold school board elections on May 16th from 12-9:00 here at town hall.

Highway Superintendent Carter stated he reviewed the truck bids and recommends Tracey Road Equipment. Does the town have the storm water ordinance in place?
