The meeting of the Oswego Town Board was held on August 13, 2007 at 7:00 PM. Deputy Supervisor DeSacia opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was taken with the following members present:

Town Clerk’s Report: Hunting License sales started today and sales were steady all day.

Deputy Supervisor Report: The town has been notified of the lawsuit against the town for the student housing and the judge ruled in favor of the Town Zoning Board decision that the student housing are apartments not dormitories.
Public Comment: What does that mean regarding the student housing and the lawsuit?

Resolution 2007- 78 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board approves the minutes from the July 9, 2007 town board meeting.
Moved by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor Herrmann. All ayes motion carried.

Resolution 2007- 79 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board approves the bills on Abstract 8 as follows:
General Fund
Highway Fund
Franklin/Baylis Lighting
Edgebrook Lighting
Sleepy Hollow Sewer District
Ontario Heights Sewer District

Resolution 2007- 80 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board approves the refund of $150.00 to Craig & Margaret Cheeley for subdivision application fees that were not required.
Moved by Councilor Herrmann, second Councilor DeSacia. All ayes motion carried.

Resolution 2007- 81 Be it resolved the Oswego Town Board recognizes the following as mandatory training for Planning and Zoning Board members:
Planning Board Overview and Site Plan Review and Special Use Permits,
Monday, September 10, 2007, 5:30 to 9:30 PM
Pulaski Junior-Senior HS, 4624 Salina St. (Route 11), Pulaski, NY
SEQRA and Enforcement of Zoning and Other Local Laws

Moved by Councilor DeSacia, second Councilor Mahaney. All ayes motion carried.

Motion by Councilor Mahaney, second Councilor DeSacia to close the regular meeting of the town board at 7:05 PM
