Opened Public Hearing at 7:05pm: Antonio Cantu, 7089 State Route 104, Oswego, NY
Requesting Use Variance for weekend garage sales.
G. Auleta stated that on 3/25/13, the Town and ZBA received a response from Oswego County Planning Board – their department declines to comment on land use. Concerns raised: need site plan by scale and recommend show ingress/egress from Thompson Road. A. Cantu described business as weekends only. He will put up 20x20 garage to house items throughout the week – owns two other pieces of property. Working with surveyor and will have accurate map soon. G. Auleta said house is in an R-3 zone. Neighbors notified - appears there are no concerns. A. Cantu said he will file for DBA. Concerns raised about parking and ingress/egress. A. Cantu said would be off Thompson Road, not Route 104, and would have parking for 4-5 cars. State DOT needs to be notified in order to see what they require to support safety. R. Baker asked if there are other vendors? No. Other employees? No, only family. Big equipment? No. G. Auleta asked A. Cantu to reappear next month with new survey map showing site plan for ingress/egress, and where he will put new building. If he gets variance, he will have to go to Planning Board for special permit.

Public Hearing remains open.

Old Business: T. Anderson asked if anything new about student housing? Have not heard anything.

Open Board Discussion: Put continuation of Public Hearing in newspaper.

Motion made by R. Dexter to adjourn meeting. T. Anderson seconded. All Ayes. Carried.

Meeting adjourned at 8:10pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Teresa M. Botting, Secretary
