Meeting called to order by T. Anderson at 7:00pm.
Attendance: Debra Shoenfelt-Jaskula, Robert Dexter, Timothy Anderson, Michael Asmolik Jr., Atty. Kevin Caraccioli
Excused: Robert Baker, Michael Asmolik, Sr.
Others: Pat McCaffrey, Bob McCaffrey
Acceptance of Agenda: Approved.
Approval of September 18, 2014 Minutes: D. Jaskula made motion to accept minutes; R. Dexter seconded. All ayes. Carried.
Continuation of Public Hearing, Appeal #2014-02 Robert McCaffrey, 60 Jackim Road, Area Variance for addition to garage:
Neighbor notifications are complete (was tabled until tonight to ensure that everyone was properly notified - no neighbors have shown at either meeting). D. Jaskula asked if any of the plans previously submitted have changed? R. McCaffrey said no changes. T. Anderson said variance is for 4'. Atty. Caraccioli stated it is a minimal request, and meets criteria. D. Jaskula made motion to approve area variance; R. Dexter seconded. All ayes. Carried.
Old Business: None.
Open Board Discussion:
Discussed sign notification requirements for applicants. Atty. Caraccioli stated that the zoning committee determined that – will need to either change the law or abide by the zoning law. Atty. Caraccioli will write to Supervisor Mullen and the Town Board about notification and timeline concerns.
T. Anderson welcomed Michael Asmolik Jr. to the ZBA Board.
Board discussed what proper procedure is due to Greg Auleta's resignation? R. Baker is the Vice-Chair, but need another Vice-Chair until organizational meeting in 2015? D. Jaskula made motion to nominate T. Anderson as another Vice-Chair; R. Dexter seconded. All ayes. Carried.
Adjournment: D. Jaskula made motion to adjourn meeting; R. Dexter seconded. All ayes. Carried.
